About a month ago I posed the question, “What books should I listen to on my next road trip that addresses things like personal development, finances or leadership.” One of the books recommended was Jack Canfield’s, “Success Principles.” After a little research I downloaded the book from Audible.com, listened to it on my way to Reno, and I was sold. I immediately hit replay and listened to it again and eventually decided that I should start following the principles and see if they could actually, “double my income,” as is suggested in the book. But I needed accountability so how would that look I wondered?
Here’s what I’ve come up with;
I will focus on 1 principle for an entire week, every week, for the next 67 weeks.
I will read and listen to the principle of the week’s chapter once each day.
I will work on the exercises throughout that week that are assigned in each chapter.
Each Friday I will share my experiences within this blog.
My goal is to double my income and lose 67 pounds, 1 pound a week, solely following the suggestions within the “Success Principles.”
So there you have it, sort of a “Julie & Julia” endeavor, a la the personal development world. I look forward to sharing my experiences, successes and failures with you all as I try to grow my business while shrinking my waistline.
